Title. Sociopolitical participation of young people from a gender perspective: conceptual, methodological and educational contributions. This is a multi-method study (Bericat, 1998; Salgado, 2004). Specifically, a multi-method study with a multiple model design approach, whose central thesis is the use of qualitative and quantitative approaches - independently - at each stage of the study. The project is part of the following lines of research of the GREDI Group ( Inici - GREDI):
-
Participation: from this line, various works have been developed on the exercise of participation and participatory methodologies (Folgueiras, 2009; Folgueiras, Vilà & Aneas, 2019; Folgueiras, Geruzuaga & Aramburuzabala, 2019; Folgueiras, Aramburazabala, Opazo, Mugarra & Ruíz, 2020; Cano, Sabariego, Folgueiras, in press; Luna & Folgueiras, 2014, Martínez Vivot & Folgueiras, 2015; Sandín and Sánchez, 2014, Sabariego, 2022; Sabariego, etc. 2023, among others).
2. Gender: from this line, various works have been developed on gender violence and patriarchy (Donoso & Rebollo, 2018; Donoso, Rubio & Vilà, 2018; Donoso, Rubio & Vilà, 2016, Alldred David, Biglia, Jiménez, Folgueiras, Olivella & Cullen, 2014, among others), and on the gender perspective in scientific works (Donoso, Muntané & Pesoa de Carvalho, 2014; Donoso & Pesoa de Carvalho, 2016, among others).
3. Research methodologies: from this incipient line, we are developing methodological meta-reflections on the field work processes that we carry out (Folgueiras, 2009; Folgueiras & Sabariego, 2015; Folgueiras and Ramirez, 2017; Folgueiras and Sabariego, 2018; Folgueiras and Sandín, 2023, among others).
